LIMITED COMPETITIVE (LCOMP)

Boys and Girls

Pacific Wave offers a Limited Competitive "LCOMP" program two days a week:

Tuesday Watermania, Richmond (3:45-4:45 pm Zoom land training; 6:45-8:30 pm pool)

Saturday Hillcrest, Vancouver (4-5 pm for land warm up; 5:45-7:15 pm pool)

This limited competitive program is for athletes who have strong swimming skills and competent in deep water (Red Cross Swim Kids level 3 required); have completed AquaGO level 3, or other recreational programs; have previous dance, ballet, figure skating or speed swimming abilities.  If you are unsure about any of these requirements please request an assessment by one of our coaches to join this level.

They will train alongside our competitive athletes on dry land and in pool on Tuesdays at Watermania, and a second training day on Saturday. This program includes flexibility and dance training on land, and may be virtual at times should physical distancing be required or weather cannot permit outside training.

They will continue to build on strength, flexibility, speed swimming and synchro specific skills, while learning a routine. They will have the opportunity to perform this routine at our year end Watershow (if permitted).

Two competitions will be attended by this group (BCAS Training meet 3 in Feb 18-20 or 25-27, 2022 and Mable Moran April 22-24 in Coquitlam). Athletes will compete individual figures, and a team routine.

Limited Competitive: approximately 5 hours, two sessions per week
