LIMITED COMPETITIVE (LCOMP)

10 month commitment September to June

Full year fee: $3,100

This limited competitive program is for athletes who have strong swimming skills and competent in deep water (Red Cross Swim Kids level 6 required); have completed AquaGO level 6, or other recreational programs; have previous dance, ballet, figure skating or speed swimming abilities.  If you are unsure about any of these requirements please request an assessment by one of our coaches to join this level.

They will continue to build on strength, flexibility, speed swimming and Artistic swimming specific skills, while learning a routine. They will have the opportunity to perform this routine at one competition during the season and at our year end Watershow.

Additional fees/costs for the season (please see below)

  • 10 athletes maximum on each team (minimum 4 athletes per team)
  • 3 training days
  • 5.5 hrs up to 6.25 per week including Zoom
    • Mondays 5 – 7:30pm Hillcrest
    • Tuesdays 5:45 – 8:30pm Watermania
    • Fridays 6:15 – 7:45am zoom
    • Fridays 6:30 – 8:30pm Watermania
    • Note: Watermania Sept pool trainings will be at Steveston outdoor pool due to facility maintenance (times and days will differ)
    • Note: Swimmers can choose either Mondays and Fridays or Tuesdays and Fridays.

NOTE: Monthly fees and program days and times are subject to change due to communicable disease restrictions, facility availability, virtual training, grants received, fundraising, or other unpredicted increase or decrease in expenses.

    • Richmond (Watermania) – April 14-16, 2023

Registration fee (included free swim cap) – $139

Competition fees – $45 plus team participation $100

Competition suits – estimate $100 – 150

Uniform apparel – options, fees subject to swimmer needs will be determined in Oct/Nov

Travel fees to events/competition (2022/23 fees subject to itinerary and grants received)

           Estimated at $500 per event/competition outside of lower mainland, within our province.

Spring Camp – Optional, but highly encouraged (fees will be determined at a later date)

There may be additional fees such as workshops, educational training, health and safety, community engagement classes that would be informed ahead of time and added to swimmer’s accounts.
