Recreational - AquaGo!
Classes are offered in multi-week sessions at community pools throughout the Lower Mainland in separate fall, winter, and spring sessions. Athletes of all genders, ages 6 and up who are comfortable in the water and have some basic swimming skills are welcome. Once a week athletes will learn basic speed swimming, routine skills and positions in artistic swimming from Level 1 up to level 6 as a foundation for understanding the sport. The aim is to help swimmers develop by working through skill progressions developed by Canada Artistic Swimming theorical and PWS practical experience. Athletes will work together as a team to develop multiple skill sets including the fun part of the sport, for example routine skills.
Athletes in Aqua GO are not expected to attend competitions. Beginner athletes who want more experience but are not ready for competition are encouraged to register for more than one AquaGO session per week (if offered).

The FINA world congress passed a name change for the sport of Synchronized Swimming. The new name is ARTISTIC SWIMMING. In order to rebrand with the sport the new name is AquaGO!

Arrive on Time – We request that athletes arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the class. Warm up is critical in ensuring proper physical and mental warm up.
When you arrive – meet your coach at the dive tank and remove shoes before entering the pool deck. Remember to visit the washroom before class begins
Communication – The lines of communication are always open. Please introduce yourself to your child’s coach. It is important that you register for Team Snap and that you have access to all schedules posted online. If you have any questions or concerns please email info@pacificwavesynchro.ca
To avoid the spread of illness to other children, families and staff at Pacific Wave and to help your child have a speedy recovery, please keep your child home from synchro if he/she:
- Displays symptoms such as excessive coughing, runny nose, fever, vomiting or diarrhea
- Has a suspected or known communicable disease (i.e. Pink eye, cold or flu, rash or other skin infection, chicken pox, gastrointestinal illnesses, head lice, etc.)
Recreational Stream:
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Withdrawals before the session begins are eligible for a full refund of the program fee.
- Withdrawals within the first month of the session: 80% refund of the program fee on a pro-rated balance.
- Withdrawals beyond the first month of the session: no refunds.
- In the case of injury or illness, with a doctors note: 80% refund of the program fee on a pro-rated balance.
- Any physician fees incurred for the certificate are the responsibility of the swimmer’s family.
